- Place fraudulent or fake orders
We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order if we suspect misuse.
3. Products & Availability
We work hard to keep product information accurate. However:
- Some items (especially fresh produce) may vary slightly in size or appearance
- Prices and availability may change due to market conditions
If an item becomes unavailable after you order:
- We will suggest a replacement or
- Refund you immediately for that item
4. Pricing
All prices shown on the website are in Nigerian Naira (₦) and include applicable taxes.
For weighed items (e.g., fish, yams, vegetables), final cost may vary slightly depending on weight. You will only be charged for the confirmed quantity delivered.
5. Orders & Payment
We accept:

- Bank transfers
- POS (in-store or on delivery)
Payment must be confirmed before delivery is processed.
6. Delivery & Free Shipping Policy
We offer Free Delivery within Abuja specifically for fresh and perishable orders that meet the following criteria:
A. Qualifying Orders
To qualify for free delivery, your order must be ₦100,000 or above and consist of the following fresh and perishable categories:
- Fruits & Vegetables: Tomatoes, peppers, onions, carrots, etc.
- Fresh Produce: Plantain, yams, dry fish etc.
- Meats: Fresh beef, goat meat, ram meat etc.
- Frozen Foods: Portions of fish, chicken, snails and seafood.
- Spices and seasoning
B. Items Excluded from Free Delivery
The following items do not qualify for the free delivery offer, regardless of the order value:
Carton Buys: Carton-sized orders of frozen fish, chicken, or turkey.
Dry Goods & Grains: Bags of rice, beans, flour, or sugar in commercial quantities.
General Provisions: Groceries, bottled drinks, oils, detergents, and household essentials.
C. Mixed Carts
If you buy ₦100,000 worth of fresh food plus other items (like provisions or toiletries), the entire order still qualifies for Free Delivery.
- The Rule: As long as the "Fresh/Perishable" portion of your receipt hits the ₦100k mark, shipping is on us!
D. Standard Delivery Fees
Standard delivery fees apply if the fresh/perishable portion of your order is under ₦100,000, or if the order consists entirely of excluded items. Fees are determined by the courier and will be communicated to the customer before dispatch.
Pickup Option
You may pick up orders at our store during working hours.
7. Refund & Order Cancellation Policy
At OjaOba Food Market, customer satisfaction is important to us. We understand that plans can change, so we’ve created a fair and transparent cancellation and refund policy.
A. Order Cancellation Before Delivery
Customers may cancel an order before it has been processed or dispatched.
• If an order is cancelled before processing or dispatch, the customer is eligible for a full refund.
B. Refund Method
• Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method used during checkout or confirmed account number provided by the customer
• Refunds are typically completed within 3–7 business days, depending on the payment provider or bank.
C. Fresh & Perishable Items
Due to the nature of fresh and perishable food items:
• Fresh and perishable items are non-returnable once delivered due to hygiene and food safety reasons.
• Where a valid issue is confirmed, store credit will be offered as compensation in place of physical returns.
• Issues must be reported within 12 hours of delivery to be eligible for review.
• Refunds or replacements will only be considered where the item was damaged, spoiled, missing, or incorrectly supplied at the time of delivery.
• Clear photo or video evidence is required to support any claim involving fresh or perishable items.
• Items that have been cut, cleaned, cooked, washed, or altered are not eligible for a refund, replacement, or store credit.
• Issues not reported within 12 hours of delivery will not be eligible for resolution.
D. How to Cancel or Report an Issue
To cancel an order before dispatch or report an issue after delivery:
• Contact our customer support immediately via our official phone number, WhatsApp, or email.
• Provide your order number and clear video evidence (where applicable) to help us resolve the issue quickly.

If you create an account, you are responsible for all activity under it.
